I have decades of experience with all things fabric and art. I am passionate about teaching others how to create clothes that really fit. I also love to teach everything from basic sewing to advanced couture techniques. I am a certified Palmer/Pletsch instructor, licensed Martha Pullen instructor, and a certified Tuffet maker.

As a mother to three law school graduates, a daughter in law, and grandmother to four grandchildren, family is very important to me. I have a doctorate degree in nursing.

I have taught Nationally for The National ASG, Crafty Gemini, and many local groups in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to these courses, I also offer sewing classes, where I adore watching my students have those "aha" moments. It is rewarding to see the progression of a beginning sewer to become a confident garment sewer.
